More than just a photographer... I'm not the kind of photographer who just shows up on the day, does some fun but kinda awkward poses, and then leaves. I love to get to know you, your story & what's important to you. You'll often find me chatting with your guests, laughing with mum & dad and on the dance floor with the divas - I find this is the best way to reach a level of comfortability with you & your loved ones which leads to fun & authentic photos.
After 10 years of experience, I've come to realise the best way to tell the story of the wedding day is to be there, all day. What is an Engagement Session?
A.It's a photo session with myself, you & your fiance BEFORE the wedding day! We'll capture some beautiful photos *before the wedding stress kicks in*, but MOST importantly, we'll have a chance to get to know each other better and you'll learn what to expect on the wedding day from me. Bye-bye nerves, hello fun, relaxed & authentic photos!
How do you photograph weddings?
A.I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I have over 10 years worth of knowledge & experience to share with you and help you get the best from your day.
I'll work with you to create a timeline that flows effortlessly but also allows for intimate moments with your love (believe me, unless it's planned it won't happen!)... and it's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites!
On your wedding day, all I want to capture are the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique. If like me, you're not a full-time model, don't stress! I'll provide just enough guidance during your portraits for those insta worthy shots.
Where are you based and do you travel?
A.I'm based in the Western Suburbs of Melbourne (Hillside, 3037).
AND, heck yeah I travel! If you want me to photograph your story, it might require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. But no worries, I always try to find the cheapest way to come because I love the way my creativity kicks into hyper drive when discovering new places.
What happens after? When will we get our photos?
A.I'll get home and start working on your images straight away, it usually takes me between 2 - 4 weeks to prepare your images, when your gallery is ready let's catch up for a coffee or wine! I'll show you through your private online gallery and your fine art prints. From your gallery you can download all the photos, share with anyone you wish, choose your favourites, and order prints! Anyone you share your gallery with can also order prints.
After you've viewed your images you can order albums, wall collections & prints (if you haven't already added to your package). Albums can take up to another 6 weeks once you've fallen in love with the layout and we've ordered your masterpiece.
How many pictures will we receive?
A.You will receive over 600 fully edited images with no watermarks. I always choose quality rather than quantity and that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
Can I purchase an album after the wedding?
A.Of course you can! However you do get 20% off if you purchase before your wedding, if budget is tight or you want to receive a gift from guests you'll LOVE, I can set up an Album Registry where your loved ones can easily contribute to your album - it's actually amazing, ask me for a demo if you're interested!
How do I book you in?
A.Click the button below, "Contact for availability" Let me know your wedding date & venue, and a couple more details. I'll let you know my availability ASAP and email through a contract for you to complete on a computer or phone. A $1000 non-refundable retainer is required to lock in your date.
